چکیده

Obesity causes metabolic syndrome disorders that are detrimental to health. The current study examined the effects of intermittent fasting (IF), fermented camel milk (FCM), and incorporating 10% Sukkari date (FCM-D) on weight loss, blood profile, antioxidant status in obese rats for 6 weeks. Subsequently, leptin adiponectin levels histopathological examination adipose tissue were carried out. Results showed IF with FCM or FCM-D decreased body by 0.92 −5.45%, respectively. alone lowered non-fasting glucose (NFBG) FBG after weeks, whereas adding reduced NFBG 4 Intermittently given had lowest (BGL). hypolipidemic IF, FCM, triglycerides (TG), cholesterols (CHO), their derivatives. presented a superior effect lipid profile. A reduction rate 40, 37, 66, 40% TG, CHO, low-density lipoprotein (LDL-c), very (VLDL-c), respectively, an increase HDL-C 34% noticed. Reductions LDL-c, VLDL-c, rise high-density (HDL-C) noted. Combining atherogenic index (AI) 42% 59%, Remarkably, treating FCM+IF FCM-D+IF effectively attenuated levels. Malondialdehyde (MDA) was significantly type-dependent manner. Implementing glutathione (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), MDA, catalase (CAT) most efficient treatment giving IF. Histopathologically, adipocyte lipolysis increases free fatty acids (FFAs) promotes inflammation. Only IF+FCM-D indicated no alteration except few focal areas inflammatory cell infiltrations parenchyma. In conclusion, combining Probiotic-FCM Probiotic-FCM-D accelerated markers, reversed alterations. Thus, combined is highly recommended strengthening antioxidative status, preventing health disorders.

Consumption of fermented milk product with probiotic modulates brain activity.

BACKGROUND & AIMS Changes in gut microbiota have been reported to alter signaling mechanisms, emotional behavior, and visceral nociceptive reflexes in rodents. However, alteration of the intestinal microbiota with antibiotics or probiotics has not been shown to produce these changes in humans. We investigated whether consumption of a fermented milk product with probiotic (FMPP) for 4 weeks by h...
